Based on observation, the facility does not provide separation of the ICU clean storage supply room from the corridor for smoke control.
Findings include:
Observation during facility tour on 3/12/12 at 10:45 AM revealed the ICU clean storage room had no door to separate the room from the corridor. Supply rooms greater than 50 square feet in area in a sprinklered facility must have a door with self closing hardware to restrict the passage of smoke.
This finding was verified with Staff #35 on 3/12/12.
