Based on observation during facility tour on 12/05/16 to 12/06/16 and staff interview it was determined the facility failed to meet the previsions of the 2012 edition of the National Fire Protection Association 101, Life safety Code, Chapters 19, and 39. This had a potential to affect all patients receiving services at this facility.
Findings:
K 271 Discharge from exits not maintained as a hard packed all-weather surface.
K 345 Fire Alarm System testing smoke detector sensitivity testing within the first year.
K 355 Fire Extinguisher not inspected monthly.
K 929 Securing Medical Gas Cylinders.
