Based on observation and interview the facility failure to ensure the signage for patient rights and other required signage were present in the patient waiting rooms and two (2) of four (4) bathrooms in the emergency department.
Findings Include:
The facility shall display separate signs, in English, Spanish, and any additional language as required by Subsection (b), side by side in accordance with this section in each restroom and patient consulting room.
Observation and interview on 07/14/2023 on 1030 revealed the emergency department (ED) did not have the required signage in the waiting room or the sexual trafficking signs in 2 of 4 the ED bathrooms (C1-250 and C-257).
Interview during rounds with the staff (staff ID#54) who verified the findings and stated you are right, I do not see the required signs posted in the ED or the sexual trafficking signs in the two bathrooms.
