NFPA 101 (2003), 7.2.1.4.1.4 (2).
This STANDARD is not being met, as evidenced by: Based on observation during the Survey on the afternoon of 05/01/2013, with the maintenance director, the existing sliding entry doors, both to the Main Entry Lobby and to the Emergency Department, both were equipped with thumb-latch locking devices but did not have the required signs displayed or installed.

A placard shall be placed conspicously near the Class "K" fire extinguisher that serves the kitchen ventilation hood. Placard to read: "Fire Protection System shall be activiated prior to using Fire Extinguisher." NFPA 10, 4.3.2.2.
This STANDARD is not being met, as evidenced by: Based on observation during the Survey on the afternoon of 05/01/2013, with the maintenance director, the existing Class "K" fire extinguisher mounted near the kitchen ventilation hood did not have the required placard permanently mounted near it (rather, the existing placard with the required text was loosely stuck behind wall-mounted electrical conduit quite a distance from the fire extinguisher).

This STANDARD is not being met, as evidenced by: Based on observation during the Survey on the afternoon of 05/01/2013, with the maintenance director, the required receptacle identifying labels were not installed on emergency system receptacles in all patient rooms.
