Based on observation and interview the facility failed to post signs in it's Emergency Room indicting the facility participates in Medicaid, the rights of individuals with an emergency medical condition and women in labor who come to the emergency department for health care services; possibly preventing patients from receiving appropritate care.
Findings include:
An observation on the morning of 5/6/2019 revealed the required Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act postings were not present for patients to review in the facility's Emergency Room waiting area.
During an interview, on the morning of 5/6/19, in the facility's Emergency Room waiting area, Staff #8, Director of Nursing, confirmed the finding.
