Based on the cost report review required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and conducted by Novitas Solutions, Inc, it was determined that the Critical Access Hospital (CAH) failed to ensure compliance with 42 CFR 485.620(b).
Findings Include:
1. For the period ending 09/30/2018, it was determined by the cost report review that the hospital failed to meet the 96 hour Average Length of Stay (ALOS) requirement for CAHs by having an 120.00 hour average length of stay.
