Fire Alarm System - Notification

Based on observation and testing, the facility failed to provide a properly tested and maintained fire alarm system in accordance to NFPA 72 section 18.5.4.4.7. The deficient practice affected one (1) of four (4) smoke compartments on the day of the survey.
Findings include:
On July 23, 2018 at 12:20 PM, observations revealed unsynchronized emergency strobes located on the Labor and Delivery Hall of the hospital.
The finding was acknowledged by the Administrator and verified by the Maintenance Supervisor during the exit interview.
