Based on observations during the facility walk through inspection with the hospital administrator and plant operations director on 05/10/2011, the following were noted;
(a). The face panel of the master fire alarm panel did not have signage to identify the electrical panel and circuits that supplied power to the fire alarm system.
(b). The electrical curcuit providing power to the fire alarm system was not clearly marked (color coded red) within the Life Safety Branch electrical panel.

Based on observations and review of documentation during the facility walk through inspection with the hospital administrator and plant operations director on 05/10/2012 it was noted that no documentation was availabel for review concerning electrical safety testing of duplex outlets. Duplex electrical outlets for critical care patient areas shall be tested semi-annually whlie all other patient care areas shall be tested annually. Outlets shall be tested for physical integrity, continuity of grounding, retention force, and correct polarity.

based on observations during the facility walk through with the hospital administrator and plant operations director on 05/10/2012, it was noted that the electrical panels being served from the emergency generator (the Essential Electrical System) were not identified distinctly different from those panels served only by the buildings "normal" power supply. The EES panels shall have panel numbers/names color coded to be different from the normal power panels.
