While inspecting the building construction type on August 7,2012 at 11:00 a.m., the surveyor and maintenance director observed a mechanical closet built inside the pharmacy was constructed of noncomforming combustible material.

Finding include:

While inspecting smoke barrier walls on August 7, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., the maintenance supervisor and the surveyor observed the smoke barrier walls had the following unsealed penetrations:
1. Smoke barrier wall near the kitchen was sealed with material having no fire resistive characteristics.
2. Smoke barrier wall near main entrance was sealed with material having no fire resistive characteristics.

The administrator and maintenance director were notified during the survey and in the exit conference.

While inspecting the sprinkler system on August 7, 2012 at 11:30 a.m., the maintenance supervisor and the surveyor found that the mechanical closet located inside the pharmacy did not have a sprinkler head installed.
