Based on observation and staff interviews it was determined the facility failed to meet the requirement for K-Tag 144.
This could place 169 residents at risk in the event of an emergency.
The findings include:
On 07/21/2016 between 10:00 am and 11:00 am observation revealed that a remote generator annunciator panel hadn't been installed where it could be monitored by staff around the clock. (Remote panel trouble indicators should at a minimum mirror the trouble indicators on the generator). Instead a light was installed indicating when the generator was running. (See picture). This does not meet the standard of NFPA 99, 3.4.4.1, NFPA 110,8.4.2
These findings were confirmed by Staff M at the time of discovery
