Based on observation, it was determined the facility failed to maintain the emergency generator power supply.
The findings included:
Observation during the initial tour on 8/1/11 at 10:04 AM revealed the generator annunciator system, which indicates when the generator system is in a trouble status, did not function. The annunciator system was located at the adjoining nursing home north nurses' station.
The finding was acknowledged by the Administrator and verified by the Maintenance Director at the exit interview on 8/1/11.
