Based on measurements of construction plans and interviews the failed to provide exits within the 200 foot travel distance limits of the National Fire Protection Association Pamphlet 101 2000 Year Edition. Not providing the approved travel distance limits could affect the ability of people to be exited to a protected exit enclosure for safe travel to the exit discharge of the facility. The facility had a census of 206 and a capacity of 265.

On March 8, 2010 at 3:28 and 9:40 P.M.and measuring distances with two different devices including a ruler and converting inches to feet and a digital plan distance marker it was determined that the travel distance from the Northeast corner of the connecting corridor that surrounds the surgery rooms to the SouthWest exit enclosure is 348 feet. Administration M and O confirmed the findings.
