The abbreviated survey (prompted by complaint investigation #CO13875) on October 9, 2012 reviewed Emergency Department egress corridors and suites in both the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion (AIP) Aspen Bldg ID: A1,and the Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion (AOP) Aspen Bldg ID:04. The deficiencies cited as a result of the survey are presented in Life Safety Code Survey Event ID B8LY21.
The results of the complaint investigation were discussed with the Vice-President of Clinical & Support Services and numerous facility Department Directors and Managers during an exit conference conducted on October 17, 2012.
The deficiencies result in the Condition of Participation for Physical Environment (A700) being out of compliance with the Conditions of Participation set forth by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
