Based on observation and interview it was determined that the facility failed to ensure that there was appropriate signage at the Emergency Department's Ambulance Entrance.
Findings:
Observation on 02/05/15 at 11:00AM in the Emergency Department revealed the Ambulance Entrance does not have signage defining the rights of individuals with emergency medical conditions and women in labor who come to the Emergency Department for health care services and also indicating whether the facility participates in the Medicaid Program.
At the time of the observation, Staff #1 confirmed the finding.
