Based on visual observations the facility failed to provide sprinkler protection in accordance with NFPA-13. This deficient practice could potentially affect all patients and guest of the facility in the event of a fire emergency due to the area being unprotected by a sprinkler system.
Finding :
During tour of the facility on 01/05/2011 between the hours of 8:30am and 1:30pm , the rear canopy that is used for exiting has an area to side that the facility uses for mobile laundry cart storage. This area is not protected by a sprinkler system and is connected to the main building.
