Based on a review of emergency smoke zone evacuation plan documentation during the life safety survey completed on 01/15/14, the facility did not outline the use of smoke compartments in relocation patients in the event of smoke or fire in the building. 18.7.2.2
Findings:
The facility emergency fire evacuation plan did not address the use of smoke compartments in the building to relocate patients and visitors in the event of a fire.
This observation was made in the presence of the Director of Plant Operations.
