Based on observation and interview the facility failed to ensure EMTALA signs are posted in all areas patient may be waiting for emergency treatment, in 1 of 1 observation.
Findings include:
Observations made on 6/1/15 at 8:55 AM, in the ED, there are not EMTALA signs in the treatment rooms and waiting room of the ED. Per interview with MD C, on 6/1/15 at 9:00 AM, there are no EMTALA signed in the ED's 12 treatment rooms and one waiting room.
