The inspector observed, while accompanied by the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations during the hours of the inspection from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm on 10/17/2018 that there were the following issues. They were: IT rooms in the north tower on all floors have plywood on the walls for mounting equipment. The plywood must be fire treated and must have the proof of fire treating label visible. The plywood was painted so that it could not be verified that the plywood was fire rated. The plywood must be replaced with fire treated plywood and the fire treating label must remain visible.

Interior wall and ceiling finishes, including exposed interior surfaces of buildings such as fixed or movable walls, partitions, columns, and have a flame spread rating of Class A. The reduction in class of interior finish for a sprinkler system as prescribed in 10.2.8.1 is permitted. Individual rooms not exceeding four persons may have a Class A or B finish. Lower half of corridor walls, not exceeding 4 feet in height, may have a Class A or B flame spread rating. 10.2, 18.3.3.1, 18.3.3.2

The inspector observed, while accompanied by the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations during the hours of the inspection from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm on 10/17/2018 that there were the following issues. They were: On the psych floor, the shower curtain's label did not state that it meets the requirements of NFPA-701. Please verify that these curtains meets the code requirements or please replace them.

Gas and Vacuum Piped Systems - Other

The inspector observed, while accompanied by the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations during the hours of the inspection from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm on 10/17/2018 that there were the following issues. They were: Above the corridor double doors located near room #3115, there were copper medical gas lines in contact with rigid metal duct work. These copper lines must be isolated from dissimilar metals to prevent corrosion.

Electrical Systems - Other

The inspector observed, while accompanied by the Assistant Director of Facilities Operations during the hours of the inspection from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm on 10/17/2018 that there were the following issues. They were: Electrical rooms P422, NT3173, NT5164 and other locations had ladders blocking the dedicated spaces around the electrical panels.

"Dedicated Equipment Space: All switchboards, panelboards, distribution boards, and motor control centers shall be located in dedicated spaces and protected from damage." - NFPA 70, 2012, 110.26(E)
