Based on observation during the afternoon of March 14, 2012: The "Life Safety" electrical panelboard directory indicates the fire alarm control panel (FACP) is powered by circuit #7. However, the adjacent "Critical" electrical panelboard directory indicates the the FACP is powered by circuit #3. The source of power for the FACP must be a dedicated circuit on the "Life Safety" branch of the Essential Electrical System. Therefore, it must be verified the FACP is not powered by the "Critical" panel, and is powered by the "Life Safety Panel."

Based on observation during the afternoon of March 14, 2012: A fire sprinkler is not installed at the room where the main sprinkler riser pipes and valves are installed which does not comply with NFPA 13. ( A new door was recently installed at this room to provide access for maintenance and repairs to the sprinkler system.) NFPA 13 requires that this room be protected by the fire sprinkler system.

Based on observation during the afternoon of March 14, 2012: Two fire sprinklers were approximately 3 feet apart at the ceiling of Unit 1 nurse station which does not comply with NFPA 13. (It appeared these sprinklers were in two separate rooms before a wall was removed.) NFPA 13 requires baffles be installed wherever sprinklers are less than 6 feet apart to prevent operating sprinklers from wetting adjacent sprinklers.
