Based on document record review and observation, the provider failed to meet the minimum construction standards of the 2000 Life Safety Code (LSC). The building construction type required a complete automatic sprinkler system. Findings include:
1. Review of the previous survey record dated 1/28/09 revealed the hospital building was a two story, noncombustible, Type II (111) structure with a partial basement and without a complete automatic sprinkler system. Observation of the building beginning at the time of record review and interview with the director of environmental services during the survey confirmed those findings.
