Based on visual observation the facility failed to provide corridor doors that comply with this STANDARD . Corridor doors at Freedom Behavioral have roller latches. The deficient practice had the potential to affect 1 patient.
2 Of 2 corridors had doors that were deficient.
Findings:
During the facility tour, on 4/5/2019 observation during physical inspection revealed corridors have roller latches as a means of keeping the door closed, this is prohibited by CMS
