Based on observation the facility failed to post signage related to EMTALA for all patients to be informed of patient rights for twenty (20) of twenty (20) sampled patients.
Findings include:
Observation on 5/27/2014 at 1:00 p.m. of the Emergency Department with the Emergency Department Director revealed the EMTALA signage was only located at the Emergency Room ambulatory entrance.
