Based upon observations made in the presence of the plant manager on 6/26/10, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that laundry equipment was maintained in a safe operating condition in accordance with CMS regulations.
Findings include:
On 6/26/10, it was observed that 1 of 2 commercial laundry dryers had at least ?" of lint accumulated in the combustion chamber which presents a fire hazard as a source of possible ignition.
