Based on record review and interview, the facility failed to provide documentation for the required testing and maintenance for the required fire alarm system. This has the potential of affecting approximately 2 occupants in three of three smoke zones. This deficient practice has the potential to affect the effectiveness of the fire alarm system if activated. This facility has a capacity of 20 patients with a census of 2 patients at the time of the survey.
Finding are:
On 2/13/2023 at 2:30 P.M., record review reveled the facility could not produce documentation for the required testing and maintenance for the required fire alarm system.
During interview conducted on 2/13/20236 at 2:30 P.M., Maintenance personnel confirmed that they could not produce the required documentation for the testing and maintenance for the fire alarm system.
