A. Based on random observation during the survey walk through it was noted that a continuous protected path to the outside is not provided in order to comply with 19.3.1.1. The finding includes:
1. A Building, Second floor, "exit access corridor" open to Stair K, the Life Safety plans show an open stairway, and indicate an exit access corridor in lieu of what is an extension of the exit stairway to the corridor door located adjacent to Recovery.
B. Based on random observation during the survey walk through it was noted that not all exit components are provided with elements which maintain the fire resistant rating of the enclosure. Surveyor observed in numerous locations exit door hardware components which contained a brass knob.
