Based on observation, the facility failed to provide adequate identifications at required walls. Verify all required walls at both facilities are properly identified.


All fire walls, fire barriers, fire partitions, smoke barriers, and smoke partitions shall be effectively and permanently identified with signs or stenciling per IBC 2012 section 703.7.



Based on observation, the facility failed to provide adequate identifications at emergency panels at both facilities. Verify all emergency panels are properly identified.


"Emergency panels shall be distinctively marked so that they are readily identifiable as a component of the essential electrical system." - NFPA 70, 2002: 110-22 and 700-9(a). They shall be labeled "LIFE SAFETY", "CRITICAL", or "EQUIPMENT" as applicable.



Based on observation, the facility failed to provide adequate support for low voltage wires above ceiling at both facilities. Verify all low voltage wires are properly secure.


Bundle, secure, and support all low-voltage and signal wiring, cable, pneumatic tubing, fiber optics, etc. above the ceiling.
