Based on observations during tours of patient care units the Hospital failed to ensure 2 TV surfaces and beds rails on 2 beds were maintained to ensure the safety and well being of patients.


Based on observations during the tours 2 televisions surfaces appeared to have dirty sticky residue from tape. Inspection of side rails on beds observed did not reveal old dried blood and feces, but 2 beds out of 10 inspected had what appeared to be dried substance that was not easily removed, as attempted by the Senior Vice of Nursing President who was present during the tours.
