Based on surveyor observation and interview with the emergency room director, the facility failed to conspicuously post a sign that specifies the rights of any individual presenting to the emergency department for emergency care and women in labor to receive a medical screening exam, necessary medical treatment, and stabilization of emergency medical conditions.

The facility failed to post conspicuously in the emergency department a sign that indicates if the facility participates in the Medicaid program.

Findings include:

A tour of the emergency department occurring 6/29/21 at 0950, showed lack of required signage in the emergency department entrance and waiting room.

Validated finding with the emergency department director via interview on 6/29/21 at 1000, in the emergency room waiting area. The emergency room director stated, "We had one, but I do not know where it is currently."
