Based on observation and interview the facility failed to ensure a remote generator stop button was installed. The facility census was zero Acute Care patients, one Swing Bed patient and one Observation patient for a total census of two.

Findings included:

1. Observation on 09/12/23 at 9:30 AM showed no generator stop button remote from either of the two generator locations.

2. During an interview on 09/12/23 at 9:30 AM Staff M, Plant Operations Director stated one of the two generators was a rented generator until a new one could be obtained and the second one was a permanent location. The only stop button on either generator was on the interior of the generators.
