Based on findings from observation and interview, the convenience stairwell was not compliant with NFPA 101, Sections 8.2. and 19.3.
Findings include:
-- During a tour on 2/24/15 at 1:45 pm at locations within the Hospital designated as 1S, 2S, and 3S, it was noted the wired glass comprising portions of the convenience stairwell exceeded 25% of the fire barrier in which it was used.
--The Vice-President of Finance, who was present when the above observations were made, concurred with these findings.
