Based on observation and staff interviews it was determined the facility failed to be current in the 6 month testing/inspection for the fire suppression system in the main kitchen.
This could place 5 staff at risk in the event of a fire.
The findings include:
During a tour of the facility with Staff M on
05/14/2018 between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm observation revealed that the main kitchens fire suppression system is not current with the required 6 month testing/inspection by a licensed fire suppression system technician.
These findings were confirmed by Staff M at the time of discovery.

Based on observation and staff interviews it was determined the facility failed to be current on annual inspection for all the fire extinguishers in the facility and failed to have a placard above the class K-fire extinguisher in the main kitchen.
This could place 25 residents at risk in the event of a fire
The findings include:
During a tour of the facility with Staff M on
05/14/2018 between 1:00 pm and 3:30pm observation revealed that all fire extinguishers were past due on the annual inspections and the K-extinguisher in the main kitchen did not have a placard above it.
These findings were confirmed by Staff M at the time of discovery.
