Based on observations, the facility failed to properly protect hazardous areas in accordance to NFPA 101 section 19.3.2.1. This deficiency affected one (1) of two (2) smoke compartments in the facility on the day of survey.
Findings include:
Observation during the building inspection on December 19, 2018 at 10:40 AM revealed the following hazardous areas deficiencies:
1.The corridor door to the Soiled Linen Room on the 1st Floor was damaged and was incapable of closing with positive latch.
2.The ceiling in the Medical Records Storage on the A South Hall was damaged by a water leak. The Medical Records Storage was unsprinkled and no longer had 1 fire hour resistance rating.
