Based on observation and staff interview it was revealed that the automatic fire sprinkler system is not in installed in accordance with NFPA 13 Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems (1999 edition). This deficient practice could affect all the patients, visitors and staff.
Findings include:
1) On a facility tour between the hours of 09:00 AM and 04:30 PM on October 3, 2016, observation revealed that the sprinkler system in the Material Management (Main Building ) storage area is not adequate for high pile storage.
2) On a facility tour between the hours of 09:00 AM and 04:30 PM on October 3, 2016, observation revealed that the Sheetrock Room (Main Building) sprinkler system was too low for pendulum type sprinkler heads.
These deficient practices were verified by a Maintenance Engineer at the time of inspection.

These deficient practices were verified by a Maintenance Engineer at the time of inspection.
