Based upon the observations during the life safety code tour of the hospital on 02/01/10 to 02/04/10 and interview with staff, the hospital failed to meet the requirements of the 2000 Life Safety Code of the National Fire Protection Association. The facility census was 17 patients.

Findings include:

Refer to the Life Safety Code Survey Report Form for 2000 Existing - Building one of three.

Deficiencies were issued at:

K-25 Penetrations in smoke barriers
K-33 Stairwell doors not latching (both existing and new buildings)
K-38 Egress exit access not paved to common way
K-78 Humidity levels not recorded
K-130 Smoke detectors within 36 inches of air flow (both existing and new building)
