Based on document review and interview, the annual inspection, preventive maintenance, and testing of the emergency generator, by the contracted inspection company, was not completed for 2019. This lack of a timely annual inspection and preventive maintenance and testing could cause potential harm to patients and staff if the generator did not function in an emergency.

Findings include:

-- Per review the maintenance department's emergency generator testing log on 12/3/19 at 10:30 am, it indicated the inspection company last completed an annual preventive maintenance inspection of the generator on 8/24/18.

-- During interview of Staff N, Lead Maintenance on 12/3/19 at 3:30 pm, he/she acknowledged the above finding.
