Based on observation and interview, the facility failed to provide maintenance records and failed to assure that the fire alarm system is installed and maintained in accordance with NFPA 72. The facility census was 7.
Findings Include:
Observations on 1-4-12 at 2:20 pm revealed the student housing apt 1 second sleeping room had no smoke detection.
During an interview 1-4-12 at 2:20 pm, Maintenance A confirmed and acknowledges all of the findings.
Records review on 1-4-12 at 3:00 pm revealed that two heat detectors failed inspection.
