This deficient practice would allow for residents in this area to not use exits and delay evacuations to a safe location in the event of a fire or smoke emergency and potentially affecting 14 of the 14 residents of the facility.
Findings:
During facility tour of building on 03/16/2012 between the hours of 8:00am and 10:30am, the exit out of the rear of the facility leads to a covered canopy. Once you are out on the canopy there is no exit sign that directs you to the exit. Also the exit leading out of the back office did not have a exit sign to direct you to the same exit.
