Based on document review and interview, the facility failed to allow patient visitors during stay in 1 of 10 medical records reviewed.
Findings include:
1. Review of facility policy, COVID-19 approved 6/29/2021, indicated temporary hold on visitation starting 03/12/2020.
2. Review of medical record for P10 lacked documentation of visitors. Patient rights paperwork was verbally signed for P10 by power of attorney.
3. Interview with S1 (Chief Executive Officer) at approximately 1:30 pm on 6/7/22 indicated the facility follows the COVID-19 policy and procedures regarding visitation, also indicated power of attorney for P10 would have been educated on policy at time of admission.
