The surveyor discussed with the Chief Executive Officer the history of the events that led to the damage of the HVAC system for the medical surge unity. It had been damaged during the windstorm that occurred on January 13,2023. It was verified that repairs were under way.




The surveyor discussed the sewer gas smell with the chief executive officer. Photographs were reviewed showing the corroded cast iron exhaust pipe for the lab. The chief executive officer stated that the damage sections of the pipe were being replaced with epoxy lined cast iron pipe.

The surveyor reviewed the emergency electrical generator testing logs and determined that they were acceptable. The surveyor also witnessed a test run of the emergency electrical generator and the surveyor witnessed that generator started within ten seconds.
