Based on observation during the morning of 11/14/13, a supervisory signal was activated on the fire alarm panel at the nurse station. Based on interview with the Assistant Administrator and Maintenance Director, the fire alarm maintenance contrator inspected the system and determined the secondary communication line that notifies the off-site monitoring contrator was inoperable. The maintenance contractor had ordered the proper components and was scheduled to return soon to repair the system.
