Facility did not assure that all biomedical equipment are inspected in accordance with the Standard for Health Care Facilities, NFPA 99. Findings included the following:
Surveyor observed on 4/11/13 between 11:00 and 11:30 am that 2 of 2 defribrolators were inspected annually. This does not meet NFPA 99, 7-6.3.1.2, 7-6.3.1.3 and 7-6.2.1.2 for testing intervals. Critical equipment shall be tested semi-annually.
