Based on observation, the facility failed to provide cooking appliances that were properly protected per NFPA 96 and NFPA 17A . This could potentially affect 6 of 6 employees in the kitchen at the time of survey in the event of a fire from the cooking appliances. This could cause the Hood Suppression system to not function a designed.
Findings: During a tour of the kitchen on 1/26/12 at 10:00am, the Hood suppression system was observed to last have been subjected to a semi-annual inspection on 6/16/2011 and was due for the next semi-annual inspection in Dec. 2011.
