Based on record review and staff interview the hospital failed to assure that personnel are licensed or meet other applicable standards that are required by State or local laws.
Findings were:
In review of personal files it was revealed that a staff nurse failed to have her required American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification renewed in a timely manner. The certification expired 10/2018.
The above findings were confirmed by the Chief Nursing Officer.
