Electrical wiring and equipment is in accordance with NFPA 70, National Electric Code, 9.1.2
Based on random observation during the building walk-through, not all portions of the building electrical system are installed in accordance with NFPA 70, 1999.
Findings include:
A. Emergency generators providing over 150 KVA are connected to electrical panels that are not divided into [critical], [life safety] and [equipment] as required by NFPA 99, 1999, 3-4.2.2.2 Emergency Systems.
UPDATE 10/08/09: Provide placards indicating each branch of service on the electrical panels.
