On observation and interview with Staff M at about 9:40am, found flush bolts on exit door out of kitchen near dishroom. No flush bolts allowed on exit door that would impede egress during evacuation. Thumb turn latch only.

On observation and interview with Staff M at about 10:00am, found that the Bio-med Shop room on the ground floor needs sprinkler protection.
On observation and Interview with Staff M at about 10:20am, found paint on sprinkler head in closet staff office 308. Paint needs to be removed, could disrupt spray pattern.
On observation and interview with Staff M at about 11:00am, found that the dumbwaiter controller chute access at top of 7th floor penthouse and bottom of basement need sprinkler protection. This is a vertical opening that needs sprinkler protection.
On observation and interview with Staff M, at about 11:15 am, found that the Fire department Connection outside of exterior building is missing the FDC caps. These caps need to be replaced to prevent obstruction debris inside piping.
