Based on observation and staff interview, the facility failed to maintain doors in corridor openings in other than required enclosures of vertical openings, exits, or hazardous areas with no impediments to the closing of the door as required by:
2000 NFPA 101 Section 19.3.6.3
The deficient practice affects 1 patient room.
Findings include:
On 06/01/2016 between 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM the door to patient room 4433 will not close due to the door hitting the door frame, the door is cracked on the side at the top hinge.
The maintenance person was present when the deficiency was identified.
