Based on record review and interview, the hospital failed to ensure proper documentation that the generator was exercised under load on monthly basis.
Findings include:
1. Review of the generator log sheet on 4/29/14 at 10:00 am revealed that the facility failed to provide documentation that the Emergency generator was exercised under load during the month of May 2013.
2. Review of the generator log sheet on 4/29/14 at 10:00 am revealed that the facility failed to provide documentation that the Emergency generator was exercised during the month of November 2013.
3. The Safety officer stated during interview on 4/29/2014 at approximately 1:30 pm that the tests were not done during these periods.
