The inspector observed, while accompanied by the Facilities Manager during the hours of the inspection from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm on 2/7/2017 that there were the following issues.
Based on observation the facility failed to provide an escutcheon plate for the sprinkler head located at (2nd Floor: Facilities Wing: Equipment Storage Room)
Based on observation the facility failed to provide adequate clearance between a sprinkler head and stored items in the kitchen storage room. ''The clearance between the deflector and the top of storage shall be 18 inches or greater.'' - NFPA 13, 2010: 8.5.6.1.

Based on observation the facility failed to provide documentation showing that wall finishes, ceiling finishes and interior floor finishes meets Class A or Class B flame spread ratings.

The inspector observed, while accompanied by the Facilities Manager during the hours of the inspection from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm on 2/7/2017 that there were the following issues. The gymnasium has an exterior exit with an emergency exit sign. Therefore this exit must have a fire alarm pull box. This pull box is missing.

Based on observation the facility failed to provide documentation showing that draperies, curtains and loosely hanging fabrics meet the requirements of 10.3.1 of NFPA-701.
