Based on visual observation, the facility failed to assure that the means of egress was free of obstructions or impediments to full instant use of the exit passage way. Obstructions, in the egress corridor, hinder occupant egress in emergency situations. This deficient practice could potentially affect 27 of 27 residents in the facility.

Findings:
During the facility tour, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 on 07/282021 it was observed that at the rear exits on east hall were block with pallets of combustible that need to be in a storage area .
Interview with Maintenance Supervisor revealed the facility was not aware that the rear exits were blocked with combustibles .

Based on visual observation the facility failed to maintain the separation of hazardous areas from other parts of the building, including the egress corridor. Hazardous areas are required to be constructed to resist the passage of smoke. This deficiency has the potential to affect 27 of 27 residents
Findings:
During the facility tour, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on 07/28 /2021 it was observed that the in the kitchen there are combustible stored against walls that need to be in a storage room .
Interview with Maintenance Supervisor revealed the facility is aware of the problem and are working on it.
