On the day of the validation survey, based on direct visual observations of the facility and interview with staff from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., the facility failed to ensure that the automatic sprinkler system was being maintained in accordance with code.
Findings Include:
The storage closet located in the nurses station on the fifth floor was not properly covered with a sprinkler.
